Candace Thompson is a dynamic speaker on a mission to unlock the artist within you. She is an IT professional with a concentration in Learning and Development. With a BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
She has spent over 10 years studying human behavior and self-identity.
She is the Founder of Canvases With Candace, LLC; a mobile paint event company. Utilizing her expertise in technical training and psychology, she offers a “soul therapy” session for the artists; guiding the artists, through a journey of self discovery.
As a workshop facilitator for goal accomplishment, creating an action based mindset, and overcoming obstacles. As a published author of #ImpressYourself, she uses these principles to teach individuals how to climb an upward spiral.
At Canvases With Candace we encourage our clients to unlock the Artist within. As a mobile company we provide a tailored painting experience in the location of your choice. Step by step instructions are provided to complete your personalized masterpiece. Its not just a painting with us, its a life experience! Each course is instructed by self taught artist Candace Thompson. We offer public, private, and virtual sessions.
“She found a love for art at a young age, my first career choice was an architect because She loved to draw and create things. Overtime She grew away from art and it became more of doodling and a form of relaxation.
But once She began teaching preschool after college it helped me see the life lessons art can give. She eventually took on a very part time job with another paint company and my passion and love expanded; to watch very inexperienced artists walk away with their painting feeling like Picasso, Da Vinci, and van Gogh gave me a deeper fulfillment.
With a degree in psychology, training in public speaking, and a career in technical training She was able to merge her love for helping people, teaching, and art into mini sessions of “therapy” while encouraging self care, internal motivation, and external encouragement.”

She is also a IT professional and currently works contract positions as an elearning developer. She uses adult learning theories to transform in classroom instruction to web based videos and I conduct all the voice overs. These are for internal trainings .
She has finished the SC Child Support
program and new system training for Aflac claims.
She is a Vision Coach. She can take your ideas and help you immerse yourself in the ideas and bring them to life.
