Model Zuri Bracy:
Model Zuri Bracy, also known as “La Reina Zuri” and “Queen Z,” is an internationally published model located in San Antonio, Texas. She is known throughout the region as a diverse model, and her signature is the diversity in her craft. Zuri has the ability to morph into various creative characters and incorporate various looks which can be seen throughout her robust portfolio.
Zuri has over six years of print and runway modeling experience in the following fashion categories: glamour, plus size, commercial and FIT modeling. She’s also a figurative art model and brand ambassador for various designers and artist throughout the region. Throughout Zuri’s career, she’s walked in over 60 fashion shows, been published in 45 magazines, and featured on a billboard along with showcasing on multitude of other media platforms. As a figurative art model, molds of her face have been incorporated into numerous museum exhibitions, featured in hospitals, libraries along with being a part of private collections throughout her city.
Zuri is more than a model, she serves as a mentor, philanthropist, an activist for body positivity and social change. In her youth, she struggled with weight issues, low self-esteem and a negative body image. It took a lot for her to overcome those obstacles to find her identity and learn to love herself. Although modeling is a very volatile industry that can easily consume you, she chooses to use it as a platform to invoke change. With the modeling platform, she has an opportunity to influence young lives as a role model and model coach. She is proud to be a representation of what a confident real woman should symbolize both on and off the stage because the world is your runway.
Some of Zuri’s major achievements include: being published in Essence; modeling in NYFW and PFW; winning Best Female Model during the Yoge Fashion Show; and being nominated for Model of the Year during the RICCI Chicago Oscars. Zuri is a mother of two, a Glamma, friend, an advocate for women’s empowerment along with actively supporting the beauty with brains initiative. She has numerous career aspirations and refuses to let anything slow her down. Zuri has a dual MBA from Walden University and works in the contract management field.
