E'ssential is one “Soul Empowerment Music” recording artist to be reckoned with!! Her beautiful spirit mixed with feel good soulful harmonies are sure to please! Her expressively emotional delivery comes from years of love, hurt, disappointments, heartaches, joy, conviction & growing pains of blossoming into the empowered woman of God she is today! Born Elaine Joplin, into a long continuing bloodline of singers, songwriters & musicians, dating all the way back to world renown Ragtime Music creator, Scott Joplin!! E'ssential's humble beginnings started at St Matthews CME Church, where she was a member & director of the children's, then youth choir. She went on to be a founding member of a Milwaukee community youth choir called the True Praise Youth Chorale. During her high school years, she was a member of the nationally recorded acapella female gospel group, "New Artists of Tomorrow", now known as "3-N-1". 

Since her start E'ssential has sung with and opened for many great artists both local & international. She has opened for artists like Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Mc Lyte, Fred Hammond, Karen Clarke-Sheard, LL Cool J, Mary Mary, Dawkins & Dawkins, Trinitee 5:7 and the list continues on... She has also graced some of the most sought after performing venues & festivals such as Summerfest & Bastille Days, on down to private galas & events. E’ssential has also been featured with many local bands. 

She is currently the Ceo, Songwriter & Vocal/Performance coach of her very own record label, E'ssential Music Entertainment, where she loves to help others through her gift. E'ssential continues her love of music by writing & producing projects for herself as well as other artists under E’ssential Music Entertainment Publishing. Her catalog includes rearranging & Executive Producing "E'ssential Soul Christmas Vol. 1", a Christmas compilation that featured 8 other artists & producers. Two UK chart topping singles, "So Fly", & "Zero Pursuit". Her very first solo album entitled, "I'm Ready Now" featured Soul Empowerment grooves such as "High Self Esteem" & "My Testimony" , "Don't Take It Personal", "Timeless", & many more, most of which contribute to her international success to date!!
